Turning On Push Notifications
Get notified on your device for assigned tasks, won deals, support replies, and automation alerts — even when the tab isn't open.
What it is
A per-device toggle (Settings → My Profile → Push notifications) that sends you a real device notification for the same things that already appear in your in-app notification bell — a task assigned to you, a deal marked Won, a reply on your support ticket, or an automation rule notifying you. Turning it on covers the specific browser and device you turned it on from; if you use the CRM on your phone and your laptop, turn it on separately on each.
Why it's opt-in and per-device
Notifications are genuinely useful right up until they're not — muting them should be as easy as turning them on, and a choice made on your phone shouldn't silently also enable them on a shared office computer. Per-device opt-in keeps that in your control.
How to turn it on
- Go to Settings → My Profile.
- Toggle Push notifications on — your browser will ask permission to send notifications; allow it.
- That's it. Notifications now arrive on this device even when Allsorts CRM isn't the active tab (as long as your browser is running).
Turn it off the same way, from the same toggle, any time.
