Searching Everything at Once
One search box across contacts, companies, deals, leads, tasks and documents.
What it is
A Search entry in the sidebar that looks across every record type at once and groups the results by kind.
Why it exists
Search used to live only on individual list pages, which meant you had to already know whether the thing you were after was a contact, a company or a deal before you could look for it — and that's exactly the knowledge you're missing when you're searching. Someone says "Khwalo called" and you shouldn't have to guess which list to open.
What it searches

Matching is case-insensitive and partial — "khwa" finds "Khwalo".
How to use it
- Click Search in the sidebar.
- Type at least two characters. One character matches almost everything and is never useful.
- Results appear grouped by type, with a line of context under each — a contact's email and company, a deal's value and stage, a document's total.
- Click any result to open it.
Each type shows up to eight matches. If what you want isn't there, add another word — searching "info khwalo" narrows far better than scrolling.
