Setting a Monthly Sales Goal
Track a revenue or deals-won target for the month, right on your dashboard.
What it is
A single monthly target — either a revenue amount or a number of deals won — shown as a progress bar on your Dashboard. It automatically compares against deals your organization has actually marked Won so far this calendar month.
Why it's simple by design
Sales targets don't need a separate goals-and-OKRs system to be useful — most small teams just want to know "are we on track this month," at a glance, without configuring anything complicated. One goal, one progress bar, updated automatically.
When to set it
At the start of a month, or any time you want a number to work toward. It's optional — nothing changes if you don't set one.
How to set it
- Go to your Dashboard.
- In the Sales Goal card, click Edit.
- Choose Revenue target (with a currency) or Deals won target, enter the number, and save.
- The progress bar updates automatically as deals are marked Won during the month — no manual tracking needed. It resets its progress calculation at the start of each new calendar month, though the target itself stays the same until you change it.
