Setting Up Your Business Branding
Logo, brand color, and contact details — what shows where. VAT, banking, and invoice numbering live in their own settings, not here.
What branding controls
Your logo, brand color, white-label app name, and business contact details (email, phone, address) — the visual identity shown across the CRM and on every document's header. Set once here and applied automatically everywhere.
What branding deliberately does not control
VAT number, registration number, banking details, tax rate, and invoice/quote numbering are not branding — they're accounting and invoicing settings, and live on their own page: Invoice & Quote Settings. Branding is "how your business looks"; that page is "how your documents calculate and number themselves." Keeping them apart means a "brand color" question never gets tangled up with a "why is my VAT wrong" question.
Why it's centralized
Setting your logo once, rather than re-uploading it for every document, means every quote and invoice is guaranteed consistent without you having to think about it.
When to set it up
Before you send your first real quote or invoice — ideally during Your First 10 Minutes.
How to set it up
- Go to Settings → Branding.
- Upload a logo (resized automatically in your browser — no need to pre-resize) and pick a brand color.
- Fill in your business email, phone, and address.
- Set a white-label app name if you're on a plan that supports it (see White-Labeling).
- For VAT, registration number, banking details, and invoice numbering, go to Settings → Invoices & Quotes instead — see Invoice & Quote Settings.
Branding is available on every plan. Two related features sit on top of it but require higher tiers: Custom Domains (Growth and Scale) and White-Labeling (Scale only) — both configured from this same Branding page and Settings → Domain.
