Understanding Invoice/Quote Limits by Plan
How many documents you can create per month on each plan, and what happens at the limit.
What the limit is
Each plan includes a monthly quota of new quotes and invoices: Starter 25/month, Growth 75/month, Scale unlimited. Trial organizations have no limit for the 14-day trial period.
Why it's metered monthly rather than a lifetime cap
A monthly quota resets your capacity every month rather than permanently using it up, which matches how invoicing volume actually works for most small businesses — busy months and quiet months, not a fixed lifetime total.
When you'll hit it
Only if you're creating a genuinely high volume of documents in a single month — most Starter and Growth businesses won't come close. If you do, it's usually a sign the next plan tier fits your volume better.
What happens at the limit
Creating a new document is blocked with a clear upgrade message once you hit your plan's monthly quota — existing documents remain fully visible, downloadable, and shareable.
