Bulk Edit and Saved Views

Reassign or delete many records at once, and save a named search so your team can jump back to it.

What bulk edit does

Tick the checkbox on multiple contacts or companies in their list view (or use "select all" in the header row) and a bar appears above the table with two actions:

  • Reassign owner — pick a teammate from the dropdown, or "Unassign," and every selected record updates at once.
  • Delete selected — removes every selected record after one confirmation.

Contacts also get a bulk email option in the same bar when you have at least one email template set up — pick a template and it sends to everyone selected in one go (skipping anyone who's unsubscribed).

Why this matters

Reassigning territory after a team change, or cleaning out a batch of stale test records, shouldn't mean opening every record one at a time. Every bulk action is still recorded individually in each record's History — a bulk reassign of 40 contacts writes 40 ordinary "owner changed" entries, so nothing about doing it in bulk hides who did what.

What saved views are

A named shortcut for a search you use often — "Cape Town leads," "Enterprise accounts," "Unassigned this week." Type a search (and, on Leads, pick a status filter too), then type a name in the box that appears next to your saved views and click Save. It shows up as a chip above the list from then on, for your whole team, not just you.

Click a chip to jump straight to that view. Click the on a chip to delete it — it's just removed, no confirmation dialog, since re-saving a search takes one click if it turns out you needed it.

Where saved views work

Contacts, Companies, and Leads (which also captures the status filter alongside the text search). A saved view is scoped to its record type — a "Cape Town" view saved on Contacts doesn't show up on the Companies page.

Available on every plan, including the trial and Starter.
